Hi Corey ~ It was really beautiful, thank you so much!  As always, you two are awesome - a delight to the musician's ear!  I hope it went smoothly working with an unknown guitarist.  Everything sounded wonderful, and the bride was tearfully pleased, as are all the guests - even the most critical of all!

Duo con Brio was the first vendor we chose. Their web site allowed us to hear their gorgeous music in advance and completely sold us on having a string duo for our ceremony and the cocktail hour before the reception. We also had one of them play for the rehearsal, so everyone would know what to expect. Corey Averill is a pleasure to work with. He allowed us to change the date of the wedding once and the times for the rehearsal twice without any problem! Gorgeous music that will bring tears to your eyes.

They played exactly what we asked for and even bought music for a song we wanted. "let's get together" by Haley mills. They were so professional and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Corey was a pleasure to work with. I have hopes of having them play for our anniversary.

Duo Con Brio was an excellent choice for our ceremony music. They played all the songs we wanted and were really skilled in choosing music that went with the vibe we were going for. We asked if they could play Autumn Leaves, and they hadn’t before. But instead of saying “no” Corey listened to the song (on piano and sax) and was able to translate it into violin and cello. It was amazing! We actually didn’t hear the song when it was played since they played it while the guests were arriving, so we mentioned it to them, and they played it again just for us (literally, everyone else was somewhere else eating) after the ceremony. They also were just very pleasurable to work with.

Craig and I would like to thank you and the musicians Janet George and Jane Day for making our day so special by providing such beautiful music.  It was such a pleasure to work with Duo con Brio.  You all have a true sense of pride in what you do combined with superb professionalism.  Thank you so much! THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!  THANK YOU to you and your group for your fabulous music at Maggie and Patrick's wedding.  Maggie said she couldn't have been happier with the wedding and that it was a fairytale come true.


We had a lot of mistakes that day/evening beginning with the rain that through everything off schedule.  I apologize for not being there to greet you or get to talk to you before it was over, and for not inviting you up for food and beverage, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your part in making the magic happen for them.  I didn't find out until later that the person who was to put up an awning for you did not do so.  I am so embarrassed. Did you bring the awning or did you have to go and get one?  I know that we didn't start on time (I hate that)  and that I must owe you for additional time and perhaps the awning.  Please let me know what I owe you.


The groomsmen got so caught up in smoking cigars and hiding Patrick from Maggie that they forgot they needed to seat people, but we could hear the music from out on the path and it was enchanting.

Duo con Brio has performed at many weddings that I have officiated at.  It's magical!  Their music sets the tone, the feel, the romance, the class.  There is just nothing else like having live classical musicians playing at a wedding ceremony.  They have a demo CD that plays snippets of 100's of their selections.  It makes choosing the songs so much easier.  At each wedding, they were the FIRST to arrive.  They would be set up, tuned and ready to play before even the first guest arrived.  Very Professional.  I highly recommend them.  The Radiant Touch

Just want to thank your for doing such a nice job at Ann and Matt's wedding Sunday.  I got so caught up in the crowd that I completely forgot to come over and thank you and your colleague personally before you left.  The quality of your work was exceptional, this from someone who carried a musician's union card for more than thirty years.  Many of our friends, family and guests commented on the music and how it set the stage for the ceremony.  For Lynn and me--and I know for Ann and Matt as well--your work helped immeasurably to make the day unforgettable.

It was only today that I was able to obtain the names of the two wonderful musicians who entertained us at Mary's Woods in December and, hopefully, an address at which to contract them. I do hope this reaches you so you will know how much we all enjoyed having you!

I am the person who asked you if I could accompany you. You were so kind that I wanted to tell you how appreciative I am. I loved playing with you - even for a little while - and so many people have come up to me and confirmed that they loved the singing! The person who loved it most was me - and I returned to tell you so, only I was too late and you had left. If you are ever having a practice session that could include an accompanist, that, too, would be an honor.
